Position Summary:
The Daycare Staff is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for
children in our program. This role involves lesson planning and implementing age-appropriate activities,
supporting social and emotional development, and ensuring compliance with all New York City and New
York State childcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
 Planning and implementing daily lessons and activities that promote learning through play,
creativity, and exploration
 Completing student progress and evaluation reports 
 Supervision of children at all times to ensure safety and well-being
 Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
 Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom environment
 Adhere to NYC Department of Health and NYS Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS)
regulations
 Assist with meals, rest periods, and toileting as needed
 Collaborate with other staff to create a supportive team environment
Qualifications:
 High School Diploma or equivalent
 Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
 Strong communication, patience, and organizational skills
 Must meet all NYC DOHMH/OCFS background check and clearance requirements
Work Schedule:
 Full-time, Part-time: Monday through Friday *Hours may vary depending on program needs
